Do you think we have NOT been back to the Moon?

or

Do you think we have and it is being covered up for military/political/etc reasons?

It'd have to be a hell of a cover up. My dad has worked at Nasa for 35+ years as a thermal engineer, designed systems that are being used in the International Space Station, sat in on Mission Control numerous times, etc....and he's certainly never said anything about them having gone back to the moon.

I actually had a conversation with him about the space program in general about a week ago, as he's nearing retirement, and he told me he's pretty upset about their lack of activity. He feels we should already have colonies on the moon and should have completed a manned mission to Mars.

Anyway, a cover up seems impossible from my perspective.

I too am very disappointed in the lack of activity.
I find the idea of slashing NASA's budget repugnant

THAT SAID: I figure if it was a cover up. It would probably be done OUTSIDE of NASA or in some TOP SECRET packages put on shuttles without folx knowing ALL the contents.

QUESTION: You may ask your dad or you might have talk to him about it already. How FEASIBLE is it to have Moon colony now? I mean, what is stopping us from having a Moon Colony now? Money? Technology? Will?
