    Introduction: With Yao Ming out indefinitely (still a sad sight :confused: ), we need a centre to start for us next season that's taller than our guards...I think here are a few options that we can seriously look into to address our needs at Centre now that The Polish Hammer is trying to get with his new best friend Mark Cuban and his bank account...

    Disclaimer: these guys will take the league minimum, and at Houston they WILL get playtime just cos they are taller than 6'6



    Shelden Williams 6'9

    I like this guy's wife wayyyyyyyyyy better than himself actually to be brutally honest...Candace Parker would be a pretty sight to see in Houston and Toyota Centre...shes hotttt...and will get bums on seats and warmup the seats and benches big time(if ya know wat I mean ;) ).ok back to topic.........this guy is a lottery pick who was picked ahead of Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay...man how did this guy get Candace Parker dude???!!!! Ok ok wat was I saying??? oh yeah this guy is 6'9 250 pounds was former defensive player of the year in the ncaa the same award shane battier got while he was at duke...oh and shelden is a duke guy too...anyways I reckon we can get this guy for cheap and let him bang down low with Bynum/Oden/Pryzbilla/Dampier/Duncan/Shaq/Howard/O'Neal etc etc pretty sure he can defend a bit...



    Patrick O'Bryant 7'0
    YET ANOTHER LOTTERY BUST 7 FOOTER that was taken right after Rudy Gay in the same draft.....got signed as a low risk high reward free agent slash cheerleader and mascot that is used to represent the potsmoking irish leprechaun on the celtics logo by the celtics and then the celtics realised they didnt get the gem bargain they thought they had on their hands and got traded to the Raptors so the Raptors didn't have to play Jake freckin Voskuhl 20 minutes per game. Oh yeah he is a stick SEVEN FOOTER! So our average height in the team can go up by 2 inches in an instant...and toughness level down by 10 pounds of flesh and mana in an instant too



    Jake Voskuhl 6'11
    the previous guy begins to remind me of this one Jake Voskuhl...he has bounced from team to team...last seen and heard from in Milwaukee and then afterwards Toronto...shot all of 26.7 percent of his field goals last season with the raptors...but hey he is 6 fouls on dwight howard and we can even teach him the art of hack-a-shaq...not sure about his towel waving skills tho...



    DJ Mbenga 7'0
    This guy is one boneheaded mofo...actually no hes not but still...hes got more rings than iverson mcgrady yao ming combined......but HES NOT GETTING ANY PLAYTIME WITH THE FAKERS!!! I hope he comes to the Rockets...at 28 hes in his prime and can grab a few rebounds and blocks down low...been playing for his ultimate goal which is the league minimum contract all his life and I hope he gets it from us...DJ MBENGAAA YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANY PLAYTIME IN LAKERLAND BEHIND GASOL/BYNUM/POWELL/ODOM!!! THE BENCH IS NICER WITHOUT ARTEST IN HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM TELLING U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    so this stiff 7 foot kid was the dude who robbed us of our primed championship run......ok lets kill this guy...he singlehandedly fronted yao ming in the last game of the regular season in dallas like there is no tomorrow...and man I wanted the 3rd seed!!! second seed?? no thanks!!! we want the 3rd seed!!! so this kid made us lose our massive lead and we funked into the 5th seed...someone tell him he either becomes ours or we're gonna kill his fronting a$$...



    Pops Mensa-Bonsu 6'10

    Hes got a cool name and he rebounds like a mad dawg..........he gets a literally whooppin' 5.1 rebounds in 12 minutes of playing time...thats more than shane battier gets all game and 0.1 rebounds less than ronny artest gets all night..........................I'd seriously love this guy to come to the Rockets except the Raptaurs extended him a qualifying offer but maybe who knows??? maybe they won't match our league minimum offer sheet......///they are trying to save money you know...........................

    Now we come down to my favourite option at the almighty glorious CENTRE POSITION!!!



    David Andersen 7'0

    THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL...can we get this guy's draft rights from the freckin Hawks already??? Trust me this is the guy at centre that is the scola at the power forward position...he will become the next scola except he will become him at the Centre position!!!
    sign and trade someone or any scrub from our roster for this dude plus 3 million cash and 12312 future second round picks for this guy........believe me its worth it......if that doesnt do enough from hotlanta then battier for marvin williams josh childress and david andersen......that should do it...if not then we just go sign him from europe anyways and if david stern happen to find out then he obviously will make us forfeit all our wins right??? its hell of a win-win situation we'll end up with a 0-82 record on paper and first pick of 2010 here we come!!!

    he is the premier big man in Europe of EuroLeague. average in 08-09 season 11.2 points with tremedous shooting percentages...55 percent on his 2 pointers and a fantastic 40.4 percent on his 3's with yao ming-esque free throw percentages...when you factor in the minutes played hes not much worse than luis scola when luis was dominating back in europe with luis' MVP awards coming left and right...

    You are severely overrating Battier's trade value. Marvin,Childress plus Anderson. The Hawks will reject that immediately even if the salaries were to match,which they don't. We could get,possibly Childress for Shane at the most.

    whats the point of adding an old center to help win meaningless games?

    Sure they may not be "centres" but they're what you say they are, centers, there. LMAO :p I don't really know what I just said but if you're gonna correct someone you should atleast make sure YOU wrote everything correctly....I hope I did :(

    Centre is actually proper English. It may be news to some, but people outside America do speak proper English, not American-English :p .
