    Meet The Cobra. Look familiar?
    6'8", 220 lbs, SG/SF, age: mid-twenties, athletic, scorer :p
Oh, he also plays defense! All at a fraction of the cost of that other guy... :D

Honestly, I'll admit that initially I wasn't excited about the early rumors of picking up this former Laker , but with all things reconsidered, Ron Ron is heading to L.A. and this Trevor kid has mad potential . I guess these are one of those times I'll have to be hypocritical about not picking up any former Laker at any price.

So what do you say? It's hard to tell so early in the off-season how many minutes Ariza will be given, considering that Morey may continue pursuing scorers.

If Ariza does start for the Rockets and is given crazy minutes, could he possibly become NBA's most improved player? Is he Danny Granger material?

He could, but he also could be exposed as nothing more than a role player.

Don't think he will even be in contention for it. Hopefully I am wrong about that though.

He doesn't compare to T-Mac at all. Especially on offense. Tre is more of a slasher/open shot type player. Doesn't create for himself or others that well. While T-Mac is pretty much the opposite. Doesn't really play the slashing game but can create with his ball handling skills. On defense, he has T-Mac beat. Still has room to grow, but don't expect him to be a #1 or #2 type option guy. A very good role player.

He has the winners attitude and he ain't soft. Those are great things to add to this team since Ron is gone.

You never know maybe with an increased role like T-Mac had in Orlando he can flourish... BUT he also has to put in the work first

Would it be fair to call him, a Von Wafer with defense? On a team like the Lakers with so many weapons,it's hard to judge his IQ. Will he play smart basketball? Will he be able to keep the turnovers down? How will he react to pressure defense? He won't be playing with a strong front or backcourt anymore.
    Some insight would be appreciated.

hope he will get well with adelman's system as soon as possible!
Never be the kind of players who play like a rookie after they got a big contract!
