Chris Sheridan is the only guy who picked the rockets...and he could be right kudos to chris sheridan in believing in the rockets
On the more "F you, media/NBA" side of things, here's a lovely LeBron vs. Kobe article which is conveniently much longer than the Lakers/Rockets articles: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-40-80/The-State-of-the-Great-Debate--Kobe-vs--LeBron-2009.html Didn't read it, but the idea of it all being fixed continues to make me cringe and question how much I really enjoy the NBA.
If the league is trying to get rid of the terrible image of rigging games, it's not doing a very good job. Why not post this article when it is officially Lakers vs Cavs? And why have they started airing that "3 championship rings" Nike commercial between Kobe and Lebron?
Stern made sure of that with Joey Crawford on the floor of the Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, just in case it got close.
