    No Eastern Conference team or Western Conference team that has eliminated the Rockets in rounds prior to the NBA Finals has ever gone on to win the championship.

    The Lakers will be cursed if they go on and eliminate the Rockets, losing in either the West Finals or the NBA Finals.

    its called justice ball.... ppl cheat to beat us then get caught

    ie. boozer foulign the hell out of hte rockets last year then next round gets called for it everytime

    This makes me wonder what other teams have (given) the same curse. For the 16 play-off teams each year, it actually happens to 11 teams (besides the champion team and the 4 teams eliminated by it). So, it's quite likely there are other teams like this. And I guess this is more likely to happen to teams who are often eliminated in the first round, because they are more likely to be eliminated by a weaker team. So, if someone can find all the teams that have this "curse", you would see they are mostly mediocre teams. So, having this curse is not something we should be very proud of :)

    David stern must love the rating this series is getting, of course he will make this series go to a game 7.

    The nuggets look real good, better then the lakers. I hope it dosent turn out like the 2002 western conference finals. which it probably will, but the nba loves lebron.

    But im just reading form the script.

    Also kind of (but not all that) interesting...

    In the 16 playoff appearances in which the Rockets didn't win a championship since they moved to the West, they've only been eliminated by 4 different teams...LA, Utah, Seattle, and Dallas.

    Every team on that list except Philadelphia has eliminated the Rockets more than once.
