So this 9yo Japanese kid wails some Crazy Train on Ellen's TV show after proclaiming Ozzy and Randy Rhodes as his rock heroes, and then Ozzy himself comes out to meet him. The vocals are suspect, but hey, the kid is only 9 and doesn't speak English.

Personally, I couldn't imagine anything cooler as a kid. Hell I'm 33 and can't imagine anything cooler.

i saw this and it was awesome. a truly touching and genuine moment. did he ask if he could touch ozzy? lol.

seems like kids in japan are taught respect at a younger age than they are here. i've seen countless similar surprise type things on various talk shows, whether they give the kid free crap or something, and i'm always waiting for the kids to say thank you or something, and they almost never do. this kid seems to get it.

That was pretty cool, but I wish Ozzy had come in the middle of the song and started singing with him. I would have loved to see his face if Ozzy started singing from offstage, then came out to jam with him.

The kid has good taste in guitar idols. Love the Flying V.

There is a lot of videos of this kid on youtube. It turns out he's not a one trick pony. Very impressive.

I can't see the video but you mean to tell me they didn't perform together? That kind of sucks but still cool for them to meet. I assume the kid was playing a real guitar and not playing guitar hero.

Not only that but I think Ozzy was genuinely in awe of this kid and his dedication to be that good at age freaking 9. I don't know Ozzy but he looked touched himself.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzy got a little emotional seeing the kid playing Randy's custom Flying V. Hell, it may be the first time he's seen Crazy Train played on that guitar since Randy played it.

I remember reading somewhere that Ozzy is still having trouble dealing with Randy's death even after all these years.
