[Film] District 9

    For a while now, there have been bits of viral marketing for this movie showing up at different conventions and what not. You could tell right away that aliens would play a part in this movie, but what I didn't know is that the director was Neill Blomkamp. Blonkamp is the guy Peter Jackson hired to direct the Halo movie that fell apart. When I first heard of him, I thought "how could Peter Jackson put Halo in the hands of this guy who hadn't directed a full feature film yet?"

    A couple of months back I saw the short film that District 9 is based on, Alive in Joberg. I think if I had seen that, I would have been on board with this guy directing Halo. Anyways, here's the trailer to District 9 and also the original short film it's based on.

    Hmm, first time I've heard of this movie, looks alright, hopefully it's better than some of the recent alien movies that have come out.

    New trailer comes off like a Japanese anime cartoon. In a good way though. It really does look like a fun movie. The new Aliens?

    THis film has a lot of cool viral stuff going on to promote it.

    This site is pretty cool, people are calling in from around the US saying their seen non humans around.

    I called, because I'm bored. And was on the phone with MNU lol. Pretty cool stuff.

    I've been seeing the ads all over bus stops around the city... it looks like they used some real footage of posters and ads in cities...
