well since he actually owns some shares of the lakers I can't blame him for being biased... but the other espn hosts/announcers/analysts are just pathetic bandwagoners that probably only watch cavs and lakers and based everything off kobe and lebron. They can go suck it.

i think unfortunately the rockets get very little national coverage, so not only do other fans not know much about us, but some of the so called analysts and experts dont either. there's some that really love basketball and watch it all the time, you could tell who they are because they mention things that arent part of a media recap. Others simply read what some intern wrote the night before half asleep.

Or when they do their predictions, they go off of research done by others, so it's often incomplete.

For example, some dont even know deke has game left, so they dont even mention him or take him into consideration. Some dont realize what scola is capable of, others think Yao's 20-10 numbers come with him playing the whole game and getting 50 touches and they assume he's just not good enough to get more than 20 pts, they dont realize alot of it is the team not going to him, otherwise he'd avg like 30 and 12.

Look at lowry, a lot of houston fans were upset after the trade, assuming lowry sucked because he wasn't memphis' starting point, look how wrong they were, well other fans that dont follow memphis or houston are thinking the same thing about lowry...

What are you TALKING about? All I heard on the radio today was how the Rockets just demolished Portland and how Portland needs to wake the ***** up and start playing ball - on 610 AM and on a national show, not a local one.

well that's too obvious to not mention, they do have to at least recap the game like espn and the rest, but that's all they do, recap, and then "oh the blazers will adjust and make it a series".

i also find it weird how some previews talk about Yao's stamina, but just in general, they dont realize Yao has insane conditioning, he only tires in very specific situations like playing a quarter and a half straight, but most big men would need a rest then too...

Yeah jon barry interrupted with "wait a minute guys, what about dallas beating the spurs.."

i think that looked scripted, barry looked like he was timing when to blurt it out, just another example of how it's all mostly what someone else writes...

and it's pretty stupid to write something like that, dallas is finally healthy and playing great lately, while the spurs lost their best scorer and clutch guy, so it's not very surprising that dallas beat them...
