Well, I asked my girlfriend to marry me on Friday, right before the really bad rain hit, and she said yes! I was a little nervous, but I knew that this is what she wanted...The date we set is April 13, 2002...

Now, I know what you're thinking..."A-Train, you MORON! Why the hell did you title your post "stupid democrats"" if you're telling us that you're getting married?!"

My answer to that is this...would YOU waste a second and a half of your life to click on a thread that said "I'm getting married"?? HELL NO! Since political threads always get a good number of responses around here, I figured that a lot of people would click on a post title "stupid democrats" Besides, if my marriage falls apart in six months, I have to blame somebody...Why not blame the democrats??

Now, since you've wasted this much time reading this post, you might as well waste a few more minutes and stuff a blank check into an envelope and mail it to us. No toasters, no blenders, no fondue pots...just good ole' fashioned cash...

No fondue pots? How am I supposed to get rid of the fondue pot that was given to me for my wedding if I can't pawn it off on somebody else?

Yeah, HP...I get my fiancee to laugh quite a bit, but only after I take my clothes off, for some weird reason...I'll have to work on that...
