For the love of all that is good and just...

Save us the drama! Quit your whining, crying and complaining!

The Rockets are not OKC, Memphis, LA Clips, T-Pups or any other perennial cellar dweller.

The Rockets are in the playoffs YET AGAIN!

The Rockets just won 50+ games for the 3rd straight year!

Save the bandwidth here and go complain elsewhere, quitters.

CLUTCH CITY cannot be reborn with so much negative nancying!

Get a grip, and come equipped, ready to fight FOR your team in the playoffs vs. Portland.

It's a beautiful day! The Rockets are in the playoffs!

If you disagree... use the same door you came in through to leave.

    What?!!!?

    It's so negative around here...

I don't get it. If Houston loses in round one again, I might... but I'll still be a Rockets supporter!

    Get RED! Get MAD!

    Or get out.

Seriously. Portland is the best possible match-up for us. We may not have HCA but we are going to whoop their ass. I can't believe all these 'fans' are giving up before one play-off game has been played.

I love the Rockets but I must say that this hurt.

I was afraid to get all giddy and excited about this team. It has been a crazy season and I'm just thankful we have had a wonderful season. I feel like I was let down though. I was a kid when I rooted for those championship teams. I was just a fan. I didn't care how they got there, didn't care to analyze I was just happy we got to the moment.

I think I'm just bummed out that we had a chance to finally get in better position for the playoffs and we blew it.

It hurts. I want to cry. I love this team so much though. I've loved it since I was a kid.

    This hurts.

actually the matchup against blazers is not that bad for rockets. But I was hoping badly we could dodge lakers at the second round. And I am just pissed of the way rockets lost the game and the way adelman coached the game.

Anyway, it was no use crying for spit milk. just all da best to rockets. will not miss any rockets game!

let those blazers kids know they still have long way to catch up rockets! Go rockets!!!

I find it extremely hard to believe that any true fan would be absolutely cool, or even try to pretend to, when their favorite team just choked away the possibility of being 2nd seed, and most importantly their HCA in the first round.

If you ask everyone that are whining right now to leave, then that would leave no true rocket fans.

The Rockets are going to win the first round...

The second round, no. And we happen to have to eliminate the best team to matchup with the Lakers to even get there.

    sigh

Ah well, I'll be leaving. Think I hear sirens anyways, if not the mental institution then the cops, I yelled out a lung over the last five minutes of the game.

    Iroc It,
I blame you for this loss. You , a 99er, put that insulting "#11 from the rafters" post which jinxed us.

99ers don't call disrespect the original Clutch City heroes.

And you know Maxwell was the hero.

Go pray to Hakeem and ask for his forgiveness.

I agree about the 'quitters'. But I totally understand the guys that are pissed off.

We do another fourth quarter choke job...when we have to have hoped maybe to be past that.

We stumble into the playoffs with an ugly loss, with said choke job.

We get another slap in the face reminder about our weaknesses (i.e. fronting Yao) and the frustration of still not solving those problems.

We lose the opportunity to win the division for the first time in over a decade. :(

    We might lose home court.

    We lost to Dallas.

In a day or two everyone will be recharged and ready to hit the playoffs.

But it's understandable to not want to hear the cheerleading tonight.

thank you for the thread man, so ****kking tired of reading threads that sounds like we finished last in the league.

It's just one game ok, and we are matched with portland, and according to how we destroyed them this season, we can own them with or without HCA. so for all you whining b****es, yall should just leave the forum and go bandwagon Lakers and Cavs

I have always been against the negativity, thats why I dont post during the game in the Chat/Game Thread, but...

I cant help it but to hurt inside, we held our own destiny for a SW Division Title in our hands and then it was gone just the same...

On a positive note, I like Portland in the 1st round with or without HCA.

They are the only team in the West with ZERO playoff experience and we match up well against them.

We get out of that battle, we face the Lakers. We were going to have to go through them one way or another but I would had it rather been in the WCF.

Thanks IROC for helping me put this game into perspective, and getting some negativity out of my damn head.
