This is strictly a rumor, but it's from a very credible website and source. Apple Insider is reporting the following: http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/09/03/20/source_apples_next_gen_iphone_has_video_camera.html More on that.. There is also some info suggesting the new iPhone will have better 3G speeds called 3G+.. Now, I think only AT&T customers who have been with AT&T for a while know what 3G+ is... most of AT&T's phones support it and it's a little bit faster than 3G in terms of speed. http://www.appleinsider.com/article...one_to_support_faster_3g_networks_report.html Discuss..
As often as Apple has redesigned and updated the iPod, I wouldn't be surprised to see an aggressive update schedule for the iPhone, as well.
A new iPhone has been rumored for months. It's supposed to be released in June/July and probably coincide with the the 3.0 software release. The other rumor is that a netbook will also be released this year by Apple.
Yeah, it looks like a summer thing. The 3g bump was relatively minor, no one knows for sure if this will be more substantial. Mine works fine.
There is no such thing as 3G+ unless you are talking about Wimax. Companies are marketing a 3g technology HSUPA as 3G+ since they short changed us on their current 3G offering. edit. HSUPA stands for high speed uplink packet access. It will increase the speed of uploads on a 3G network. ATT is calling this 3G+ eventhough its really a part 3G that they didn't give you in the first place.
it's not surprising since the iphone cycle appears to be about a year. i want to replace my 2g iPhone with another phone but i use Safari pretty much on a daily basis and i have yet to try a phone browser that works as well as Safari.
Just got one on my wife's number on our family plan for a great deal (refurb for $99). I just gave her my BB Curve. I probably would have just liked it, until I did some research on jailbreaking, now I love it! Its really a must, because apple is so restrictive (no themes?!?) Anyway, I love it now. And its a billion times more functional than it would have been.
How come in ASIA countries like Japan, Taiwan, and China they have 3G service but you can see each other on your cell phone while talking there's a camera on the front and back (for pictures) on cell phones Will they ever have that kinda service here? here's the phone I have but I cant use the front camera here
Phone service overseas is more advanced than here. I'm sure we'll get similar stuff..... eventually....
The 3G video call is all fun at the beginning but sooner or later you will find it annoying esp for the gents. The most useful 3G feature is probably the one for parents to locate their children after school.
I'm pretty sure it's a trend thing like how people in North America use qwerty keyboard slide out phones but you won't find somebody in a different continent use a qwerty phone unless it was unlocked and bought over the internet.
