In the interview from a few weeks back that's found in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=161976 , Morey mentions international free agents as possible targets this off-season. With Deke likely to retire after this season. Could his replacement be sought from overseas?..

I was impressed by Javtokas in the Olympics. Big, atheletic, and knows how to use his body to play tough D in the post.

The Rockets couldve drafted DeAndre Jordan instead of dorsey and that couldve been a long term solution.

It's going to be difficult to get most of the teams to give up the rights to these players. Was Nielsen drafted by any NBA team? If not,the Rockets should try to get hold of him. He is quite athletic, coordinated, plays hard and has a good stroke from the outside. He can post-up a bit too,and can even handle the ball nicely for a big guy. His international experience and maturity is a big plus point.

The best center in the world that is not in the NBA is Ioannis Bourousis. He is also a free agent. Is there a reason why you would not even mention him?
