do not compare kobe at this point in his career to tmac right now. 2001 is a different story Kobe is the terminator did you see the 3 he hit against us the other night, then the one he hit the next night in SA? Even hubie brown last night was talking about people's 3 point percentages and he said something like kobe's 3 pt % come 4th quarter is off the charts, when kobe has it late you know its gamve over....TMAC, remember the kings game last year? he deferred and novak hit the game winner, with kobe he's either winning it or you can blame it all on him and for $20M/year you get what you pay for. Kobe tanked against the Spurs the other night, thats probably why the Lakers lost. and that dish to Novak against the Kings was flawless, that whole play was designed to go down just the way it did. You can rag on Mac for many things, that one specific play is not one of them.
that play went as designed? I think if u watch the replay TMAC fumbled the ball when ron came up on him, then re-grouped couldn't drive on ron bc he's one of the best defenders and luckily novak was the outlet. I highly doubt adelman designed the play for novak, novak was out there to free up tmac to go one on one
No dispute about that but Kobe had Shaq. Put Shaq with T-Mac and you don't think he wins a ring at least one of those years?
cough cough. TMac has Yao, the best center in the league and he still cant get out of the first round
To be fair, last year Yao was out and Tmac was injured. The year before, Yao wasn't fully recovered from his injury and had a mediocre-at-best series. Two seasons before that, I don't think Yao was the best center in the league.

whatever u might wanna say about TMac, he is def underachieving not getting out of the first round with Yao. He pretty much did the same thing as steve francis, only difference is that tmac had home court twice
ahem ahem If you want to compare prime Yao to prime Shaq it is not even close so don't even try. And besides the first year or half of the 2nd year T-Mac was here, T-Mac has steadily fallen off while Kobe has established his standing as the best player in the game (or Lebron).
