7th game this season for McGrady when he scored under 10 points. I think he did a good job today by facilitating for us. Saw on NBATV, and Eric Snow said we need to get healthy 2-3 months before the playoffs start so we can get in a groove and get our rotation set. An ugly game tonight but its a W. Happy New Years eve!

Hey..even the T-Mac lovers see that T-Mac is done. He's finiished.

You won't see many great games by T-Mac anymore, not on a consistent level.

Maybe next year, yeah because it's his contract year. But this guy has proven to have ZERO heart. ZERO desire to win.

He's done.

his 10 assist is fine, but he's not aggressive like he once was. what this team needs is second scorer more than anything. we're fine on defense. yao and artest arn't enough to put us over the edge offensively. assists are fine, but his shooting slump makes me cringe every time he shoots.

When T-Mac missed those 2 FTs at the end, I have to wonder, is he INTENTIONALLY trying to lose games?

Tracy didn't work on any areas of his game in the summer and it is showing.

He didn't rehab on the knee like he was supposed to do and he didn't put time in the gym working to work his game.

Tracy didn't put up 500 shots a day or work on ball handling drills or play pick up games. As a result he is out of shape and rusty with his skills.

He was done last season too.

How short are your memories? He had the same crappy start last season and then turned it around and finished the season strong. This has happened before...

Tracy doesn't spend time in the gym,He probbaly hasn't work on his game consistently in about 2 years. The difference between tracy and kobe is WORK,Kobe works on his conditioning and his game any chance he gets while tracy thinks his natural abilities will get him through the day.

did anybody notice that he was standing farther back from the line than he had been during the rest of the season?

And just to point out, he had 10 assists and 0 turnovers tonight.

T-Mac may not be the same scorer he once was, but he can still be effective. I think he will get it together by the end of the season and still be a force in the playoffs.

To be honest, I still think he has his skills but his knee really looks like its slowing him down. Hopefully, its not like Wade of last season and he has to be the real T-Mac we know until next year..

How can you be a big Yao fan and be giddy about Tmac being "done?" You do realize that Yao's chances at a championship drops to about zero if Tracy doesn't find his groove soon. Tracy and his contract can't be readily traded, either, so forgot about that route.

You are an absolute idiot if you honestly think this is true. Did you feel that Yao intentionally tried to lose the Wizards game by missing that last turnaround jump shot?

What does Tmac have to gain by trying to lose games? Does he get more respect, more money, a better contract? What? Tell me what could possibly his motivation for playing an entire game and then trying to lose it at the end by missing free throws?

T-Mac did a good job setting others up (10 assists, 0 TO), but I think he has lost a little confidence in his offensive abilities due to his reduced mobility. His jumper wasn't falling and he seemed to have trouble getting by his defenders.

I hope he can turn it around and find more ways to score as the season goes on.

You know there are two sides of the court? I am more concerned how Jefferson was able to score with ease on the other end. If our guards continue the path of shooting atrociously and getting lit up on the other end ... look for it to be a continued struggle to win games.

The assists is great and all but if hes not going to score or play D then why are we paying him 20 mil? A guy like Brevin Knight can put up those numbers for you in that amount of time.

After the first 10 games or so last season, McGrady was leading the league in scoring and was the leader in the MVP race. He was also shooting around 50% from the field. Then he hurt his arm against the Lakers.

So much for that theory.

Sweet, so we can count on him to create shots for Rafer and Battier in the playoffs.

I forgot that the theory of building around Tracy and Yao with horrible offensive players like Rafer and Battier was so that Rafer and Battier could be the recipients of passes from McGrady. We didn't construct this team with the expectation that McGrady would shoot over 40% from the field and be able to drive to the basket when his jack shots weren't falling.
