I've always liked Subway more than the other chain sandwhich places. Jimmy Johns is OK and I like their bread but their menu seems rather limited compared to all of the options you can get at Subway. The one I least like is Quiznos. For some reason their sandwiches seem to have a strange sweet taste.
I go with Subway as well, the sandwiches are better, it's cheaper as well. I've never ate at Subway, but I've aten at Jimmy Johns before. Jimmy Johns has good side orders but their sandwiches isn't that special
Impossible to choose for me. I've eaten at Subway more because it's more cost-efficient, but I consider them to be on basically and equal plane where sub places are concerned... they're both above Quizno's, Cousin's, etc...
Funny you should say that. Subway gave ME food poisoning. Twice. I still like them okay though. It happens.
Never heard of Jimmy John's. Is that a Texas/midwest thing? As for me I love Big Town Hero and Togo's.
I'm from the West Siiiiiiiiiiiiide ! Now somebody mail me some Frenchy's, Waterburger, Shipley's and whatever else good Texas stable fast food. Oh and I always wanted to try a kolache.
Jimmy John's only for the reason that I just recently discovered them and their bread is amazing. They're pretty cheap too at $4.50. If you're going by money, it's actually cheaper than Subway, they're cheaper unless you get a $5 footlong (I don't- Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki). Every place puts the same stuff between the bread. Because of this I have to go with the better bread for the tiebreaker.
Jimmy John's is head and shoulders above the others. However, you could make a jimmy johns sandwich at home easily.
I think Jimmy John's is pretty below average Subway is average. They need to open a Great Outdoors here. I guess I would choose Jersey Mike's if I had to pick a sandwich chain
i could go for which wich any day of the week. the prices and choices cannot be beat. the monte cristo is phenomenal as is the salmon melt. i had an awesome turkey and mozzarella with pesto on panini bread from HEB tonight. pretty damn good. $6 for a sandwich and it was big enough to save the second half for lunch tomorrow.
