Dude is just a horrible coach. Yeah so his team made the playoffs ONCE. But this year, they got so much talents and are one still one of the worst teams in the NBA... Yeah he's also the GM, so what? No one in the Clippers got the guts to fire him? There's coaches way better than this guy who's available... Flip Saunders for one and JVG if he still wants to coach.

The owner is cheap.

He doesn't want to pay the man's contract at once, and then pay another coach.

Yeah, I was expecting them to fight for a playoff spot, but they flat our suck, I think he should be fired for sure

How are these 3 guys still coaching:

Reggie Theus. Lost 11/12 but injuries have been an issue. Last night sure looked like a Sam Mitchell moment to me. Most of the Kings players have quit on Theus. Bobby Jackson was so disgusted (he got a DNP coach's decision), he walked off the floor before the final buzzer. Theus is the most obvious dead coach walking. I expected an announcement today. I don't know what Petrie and the Maloofs are thinking unless they don't have a replacement ready.

Randy Wittman. Both he and McHale should be fired pronto. Wittman was a flaming failure when he took over for Dwayne Casey to finish 06/07. Ditto all of last season. Ditto now. I predict he and McHale will get canned together, very shortly.

Mark Iavaroni. No comment necessary. Just, wow!

I promise all 3 of these coaches will be fired before Dunleavy, who actually has a chance to keep his job a while since he now has absolute power.

Theus should not be fired.
Dunleavy is in charge of hiring the coach isn't he?

I haven't seen Sac play this year. But from what I saw last year, I think Theus is not a bad coach. There isn't enough for him to make good out of this Sac team right now. He is like Bryan Scott. NO was horrible in the first two years Byran was there. Byran talks **** to his player all the time if you saw the real training camp with NO. Theus seems to be in the same mold.

Sam Mitchel to me is just a fraud acting like knowing stuff. I could never understand that coach of the year award.

Doc Rivers is overrated as well IMO. You take our old friend Tom Thibodeau out of Celtics coaching staff, it will be a different story for them. I see a lot of defensive sets we ran by the Celtics, and I didn't see those when Tom wasn't with the Celtics.

Elton Brond and Corey Maggette both leave Clippers, so I can make a concludion that Mike Dunleavy's work in the post three seasons all in vain, now their need to restart.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the brink of firing Randy Wittman after Saturday night's 23-point home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, according to NBA coaching sources.

But Wolves owner Glen Taylor, sources say, wants Timberwolves vice president of basketball operations Kevin McHale to agree to take Wittman's place on the bench before going ahead with a coaching change...
