I don't watch a lot of games. I do follow the Texans regularly, and whatnot, but have just been very busy this year, so have either been out of town, doing something, whatever. The few times I have watched bits and pieces of games, Diles seemed to be getting beat bad. So, if Diles was our best LB this year, now I know why our defense sucks!
comrade jackson tell me this isn't true. =( ay dios mio. Damn injuries :sigh: Not only that, But then you see danny clark in NY making havoc for their opposition. Looks like thompson is going to step up becaus heaven forbid greenwood actually starts playing up to his contract.
That must explain why he leads the team in tackles by a great margin! He was getting beat alot at the start of the season but has been solid for the last 5 to 6 weeks.
I'm not saying I'm right...maybe he's gotten better. I think he got beat in the game against the Vikings once, too, right? Not saying good players don't get beat either. Just from what I've seen, he hasn't stood out as anything amazing.
amazing NO, consistently making good plays, yes. He has been there when demeco hasn't. He is no pro bowler but his contribution on a weekly basis will be missed if he isn't there.. you are thinking like jacque reeves getting beat.
Sorry if I sound stupid, but does being carted off the field mean this is a severe injury? Or maybe just a rolled ankle? Any chance he could play Sunday, and if not would it be Bentley or Thompson that will take his spot at SLB? Oh and why couldn't it be Moron Greenwood!!!
I thought I heard Vandemeer on the radio saying Diles slipped on the last touchdown that gave the Vikings the 28-14 lead. Who was it that slipped there...just curious?
Wow, that sux!!! He was in coverage and was supposed to have over the top help with a safety and the safety went to help the other side of the field. Communication was the mistake there not ability
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!?! Man, we don't get a break! Demeco is going to have to step it up. Who is Diles backup? Bentley?
that really sucks, hope he recovers from it. good teams make it through injuries like these and to their QB's. And its pretty easy to state that the texans arent a good team and cant afford these type of injuries.
