When talking about the Steelers head coach on his show he called Mike Tomlin a "cold eyed killa" using the slang "killa" instead of "killer". I was informed by pgabs that doing this is racist. I always knew I didn;t like Rome for some reason.
Who is Jime Rome? And please explain how a) killa instead of killer is an example of Ebonics and b) how he used killa to criticize or make fun of Mike Tomlin. TIA! Don't bother pgabs.

Please explain how this quote would ever be considered racist and please provide an example of a similar quote or term being labeled racist. Making fun of someone by using "ebonics" or making fun of how they speak can certainly be considered racist. Using an "a" instead of "er" at the end of the word as Jime [sic] Rome did is not racist unless he uses it towards African-Americans only. Does he do that?

Yeah Jim Rome is a racist, he never says anything good about black athletes and he since the beginning of his show like 20 years ago he has never ever used any form of "slang" or "ebonics" every single day.
