Figured it would make sense for us to start a weekly thread, as opposed to various ones popping up here and there and getting repetitive.

Early observations:
-- Wow, my Tigers look good. Put up 69 on a Nevada team that's not bad and generally hung around with Tech last week. Offense is off the charts.
-- Georgia has been sluggish for much of the year. Even in their freebie games, they didn't dominate weak competition to the extent you would expect a top 5 team to do. Now, on the road in the SEC, they're struggling to generate much of any offense. South Carolina still up 7-6 in the third.
-- The Rick Neuheisel feel good era for UCLA comes to an end... after somehow winning that game against Tennessee, they're down 49-0 midway through the third to BYU. How bad does Tennessee look?

Anyone expect Ohio State to even compete tonight? Historically, I almost feel like this game is a setup -- Ohio State does have a lot of talent, and when everyone in the sports world seems to think a game is a no-doubter, things have a way of going the other direction. But I can't logically reason why or how OSU would hang that close, especially in LA. Wouldn't mind being wrong, though.

That was a nasty TD run my Moreno.

Something I was trying to figure out is why did the Tigers do a fake field goal when they were already up so much. I'm surprised Daniel came out of the game after that.

Eh, they took out Daniel in the middle of the second quarter last week.

I've never understood getting worked up over fakes when you're up big. It's a game, and Nevada had the choice not to schedule it if they didn't want to go against a better team. The thing is, getting to run a play like that is completely different in a game situation than it is in a practice. It helps down the line if you have experience having run it before.

You don't want to go overboard and try to humiliate your opponent, but if there's something you can gain by running a certain play in a game situation, I'm all for it. All about development and repetition.

South Carolina with the choke of all-time, by the way. Georgia is absurdly lucky.

Michigan lost, but I think they have definitely found their replacement for Mike Hart in Sam Mcguffie.

Dude, if you watched the game you would know that they had 7 turnovers, most of them on fumbles. Yes, their QB's suck, but they still have a lot of talent, especially at the RB position.

I still Notre Dame suck, despite their win today. They lucked out on the turnovers.

this is not a good game:

MSU turnover on downs
auburn fumble
MSU turnover on downs
auburn fumble
MSU throws an interception

that just happened in about 4 minutes of game time
