Trying out a new method of streamlining this forum. I've started a new thread in which basso can dump all his crap, eliminating the need for fifty new threads a day. You're welcome, internet. You're welcome too, basso. Please dump your crap in here from now on. TIA.
Poor Basso. He's really had a bad week. I mean, the poor guy had to actually stop posting random editorials and blog posts and actually come down and argue with us silly liberals over the Palin debacle. And now you want to cage him into one thread? He's on the edge! His entire identity is this sub-forum and his image as the the masked conservative avenger. I'm all for streamlining, but this is a man's life work we're talking about!
One of the great things about being on vacation and on dial-up is that I really have to be judicious about the threads I read. It's actually made this last weekend quite pleasurable.
You can't stop him... you can only hope to contain him... and on both fronts you routinely... Way to go, whiners!
This will probably be about as successful as "TAKE THE BET". The possibilities for bumping this one are endless.
HILARITY Bats, I guess you can dish it out, but you can't take it. The libs treat this forum like an intellectual Port-o-let -- depositing their poop nuggets on a daily basis. 20-30 threads a day of outlandish, intellectually dishonest, vacuous slop. Yet Batman Jones can't stomach a couple of threads a day from basso. POBRECITO (translation: POOR BABY)
You know, guys, the 2008 Rockets season isn't too far away. I'm pretty sure the D&D becomes much quieter for T_J and Basso. I don't think I've ever seen a post from either about the Rockets or anything Rockets related...I must be wrong. Now how about that Ron Artest?
I've posted in the GARM a lot. Check the records. Have you donated money to this site? If not, why not?
Oh I've seen numerous posts of theirs in the Garm. They... well I don't care about political orientation at all there, but... well I think I TJ has sounded rational there a couple of times. Anyway there are some Republicans in this forum that I think are great here and in the Garm. I was taught open-mindedness was a sign of intelligence and the neocons had to culturally change that in order to suck up to the religious right. And they've succeeded until now. Maybe.
I don't mind basso's endless threads, largely about nothing of consequence, because they serve to highlight just how intellectually and politically bankrupt those he supports happen to be. And I still believe, despite evidence to the contrary, that basso isn't nearly as berserk regarding the GOP as he seems to be here. In my opinion, his constant attempts to prop up his hero, George W. Bush, and Bush's surrogate in this election, John McCain, stem more from a stubborn refusal to admit he is wrong, than a conviction that he is right. I'm sure he disagrees.
