I know there are a few flips on here. I just got back from a recent trip to Manila. I saw these damn things EVERYWHERE. Kind of like those taco trailers you see in gas station parking lots in Houston. Except on every city block. and (mostly) dirtier from what I could tell. I like to think myself an adventurous eater, but man I just couldnt do it. It might have a little to do with the freaky looking leprauchan thing on the sign. Anyone brave enough to eat at one and live to tell about it?
I was brave enough to eat balut in Manila and lived to tell about it. Try that on for size. The first one tasted so good I ate another. I didn't try the burger trailers. Too low class for me.
same here. I ate mystery bird embryo from a street vendor in dumaguette but I wouldnt touch burger machine.
Those mother lovers are LITERALLY on EVERY corner! Burger Machine's everywhere! I've never tried their food...well because it just doesn't look safe haha. It's open spaced, and then you have all that smog from the traffic, which is literally 3-5 feet away from the sidewalk. Can't be good for the meat. There's always the worm burgers from Jollibee
they're pretty good.. I went to highschool in don bosco makati in manila.. and they had a burger machine infront.. don't remember getting sick from them but I've eaten dirtier looking street food..
I was about to bring up Jollibee. I was in Manila for work a few years back and noticed a bunch them. They have one here in San Francisco. Is it any good?
