And now, they're going to be teammates, along with Yao, Shane Battier, Luis Scola, Rafer Alston and most likely Carl Landry. That's a monster of a nucleus, one with stars, role players, skill, heart and even a bit of swagger after last season's streak. Coach Rick Adelman is an offensive mastermind, while the defensive culture instilled by Jeff Van Gundy still runs deep. Even with all the chaos and disappointment we've come to associate with Artest and McGrady, this team will contend. :D

Actually a really good description of the two. Like he said, Tmac HAS been in a sort of limbo between being a "loser" or "winner". Its hard for me to say he's a loser if there's never been a competitive team around him but then again he sure as heck can't be considered a winner. If he doesn't get past the freaking 1st round again the jig is up.

Yao needs to help Artest meditate and find his inner peace this season....

This was the best non-journalistic (no direct quotes) article on the Rockets I've read in quite some time.

    Artest: “you complete me”

Tmac: “you had me at ‘I’ll get you out of the first round’”
