Dude, they will flame you if you don't provide a link. Respect the forum rules!

I'm joking with you if you didn't catch that.

I'm really hoping we can snag Rush. I hope we aren't targeting anyone higher than late lottery though, because I don't want to give up any assets we could use down the road for a player that I don't think will be better than Rush.

EDIT: Didn't realize this was from the front page.

I'm guessing your joking......

It's on the front page... Clutch wrote it...

Perhaps my sarcasm meter is malfunctioning...

Gotcha.

I knew it was there, but I hadn't read it yet. I also didn't know it was customary for the front page articles to be reposted here in the GARM without giving credit of some kind.

I wouldn't be very happy if we moved up as high as 16 and drafted Rush..there will probably be better options at that pick.

Yeah, it is very odd the way he reposted it.

I agree, Rush is a great player to target for this Rockets team. I'd love for the Rockets to get O.J. Mayo personally, but it would take too much to get him. Brandon Rush seems to be a very viable target.

All I know is that Daryl Morey and Rick Smith of the Texans seem to know what they are doing. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

BTW, how is the board's fan favorite of last year Josh McRoberts doing? Can't believe we passed him up for Landry huh? :D

But O.J.'s last name is a condiment! Do you remember the much-hyped D.L. Ketchup? No? Exactly!

Nice.

I agree though. I trust Morey for the most part.

Whatever happens on draft night, I will base my happiness on how excited Morey is. Dude knows what he's doing.

I agree whole-heartedly. The problem is with the Rockets picking at the spot that they are, there is nearly no way for the Rockets to get one.

The other option is trading some of our players to get an already established third scorer. In order to get a player in that mold, we have to give up some of our players to convince another team. Then, would the price be worth the player or players we would be getting?

We are in a tough situation right now and as far as drafting, Brandon Rush is an attainable player and a player that could contribute to the team immediately.

I wish I had the same puppy dog faith. I have no hope at all that Morey knows what he is doing, especially after hearing his comments on the type of players he prizes.

Glad to see this. However, I was originally hoping we could snag Rush at #25, but Phoenix let the cat out of the bag that they were going to take him at #15 if he was there.

I stated months ago, I think Brandon has star potential. He's got great bball iq to go along with a real good skill set. I hope we can snag him somehow.

Now we have to build a team that can beat the Thunder, Lakers, and Heat.
