NBC broke into the US Open, I would have posted it but I already put two threads up today. RIP I watched Meet the Press religiously (which if ironic since it comes on Sundays)
That sucks. He leaned left politically, but he never took it easy on anyone in those Meet the Press interviews. R.I.P. Tim
This is really sad news. With most major newspapers cutting way back on print journalist, most major 'news outlets' more interested in ratings, positioning themselves for exclusive interviews and debate hosting than being the antagonist of the political/party spinsters...we can't afford to lose another journalist that..at the very least....isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers. We all lose today.
Tim Russert is Dead Just heard on CNN. He was only 58 and this is completely out of the blue. Just a huge loss for television journalism.
Terrible news. Meet the Press was my favorite of the Sunday morning shows by far. He was always insightful and fair. my heart goes out to his family. RIP, Mr. Russert.
RIP. This is sad news. He was a great anchor, and I enjoyed "Meet the Press." Now we're left with the likes of Brit Hume, Brian Williams, etc.
