Considering how painfully AWFUL the second one was, I think I'll pass unless there is a major positive response after its release.

i loved the first movie I thought it was a great action film and I love the character of the transporter. The second one had some good action sequences but it was overall a tad disappointing. Hopefully they work a bit more on putting together a semi-decent script for the movie.

If it wasn't for Jason Statham, I'd ignore this movie just like any of my ex's. It's worse than Michael Bay movies... actually.. well... iono.. they're all really bad. But you get my point.

Bay's not that bad. Bad Boys and Bad Boys II were pretty good.
Transformers wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be...but I did have really low expectations.
First one was pretty good, but short of great; second had an awful story.
The Transporter movies have so much potential but it always falls short; kind of like Jason Statham's career. I thought Transporter would be the vehicle to propel him to action stardom but all it's yielded is a mediocre sequel, the starring role in a Uwe Boll movie, Crank and War; none of those films are even remotely close to greatness and War even had Jet Li!
I also see that he's starring in Crank 2....how the hell is that even possible?!?!
Haven't seen the first one but Transporter 2 was ridiculously unrealistic. Could be the most unrealistic movie I've ever seen. Movies like Matrix, Transformers, Spider-Man... are meant to be unrealistic. Transporter 2 seemed like it was meant 'cool' and 'badass' but failed miserably.

Have you seen Crank? I'm all for over-the-top action but jeez.
I think Statham's agent has convinced him that he's the next big action star, so he signs on to any action script that crosses his desk, no matter how bad it is.
As for Crank 2, I thought the ending of Crank was fairly definite. This is not needed. And it's even got a Corey. It's not worth a rental or Netflix, I'll wait until it shows up on cable somewhere.
Crank 2 will be worse than you think. Somehow, he isn't completely obliterated after falling from the sky onto a car. He's scraped off the pavement in one piece by the badguys and for some reason they implant an artificial heart in him (these are real, they are temporary for people awaiting a donor heart). Since the heart is temporary, he needs to jolt himself with electricity from time to time to recharge the heart's battery.
