You have a timeout after the D.Williams foul shot. You are going to call it no matter what to advance the ball. Why do you not have Hayes and Deke in there for the possible rebound? You can take them out at the time out.

You don't even have to call a timeout. You can sub after the first free throw. Adelman blew it.

You're right. No reason not to put Deke in there.

Then again, I believe he did give up a free throw rebound late in one of the first two games.

That's what the OP is saying. Subbing them in and then calling the timeout after the FT.

It's a given Deke shoulda been in. Just like he shoulda been in during the last possession of game 7 last season. Our coach makes a huge mistake again. What can you do, though, when the refs are so worthlessly bad.

yep. crucial mistake considering okur was a beast on the boards tonight. 18 rebounds? might want to get a big guy on him for the biggest possession of the game.

shades of last year...can't get a big board.

After Deron missed the first FT, I saw Hayes cheering on the bench and I was like why the **** is he not under the basket right now

I dunno...Landry's one of our best rebounders. He's just gotta do a better job of boxing out on Fatty.

If we gotten the board and called a TO, then we would've had a chance at least. A 2 point lead is way different than a 4 point one.
