Team Production by Position Ranks
With over 4,000 pages of updated content per season, you might have missed the Production by Position numbers we create for both teams and individual players.

On the team side, this data is meant to showcase the kind of performance the team is seeing at each position (PG, SG, SF, PF, C) in a variety of stats -- Points, eFG%, Free Throw Attempts, Shot Selection (Inside Shot%), Rebounds, Assists, Turnovers, Blocks, and Fouls. We also show a variant of John Hollinger's PER, which allows for easy single-number comparisons and analysis of an overall production measure.

It seems to me the rockets are a balanced team except that PG position still need to be improved.

Bargnani is pretty strong, plus, outside the west where can you find a real center in the NBA?

Frequently, Bosh plays at C. Do you remember he was chosen by EC coaches at C for this year's ASG?

Come on guys, Nesterovic is the best defensive center, right behind mutombo.
Some times you say stats don't say it all...

That's why I keep saying stats doesn't say or mean much. Any nerd that never played hoops can come up with a magical formula to justify a players worth. If you just think of the best players in the nba, there mostly at 2/3 spots. So ranking in the top 10 at that spot means more than being top ten centers.

Stats are for losers. Hollingers per is like the qb rating.

LOL that's why Morey has turned this team into complete crap with no future chance of contending.... Quit hating just because you don't understand.
