The latest interview of Steve Francis by Sohu.com Sports on March 4, when he showed up on his crutches at the Toyota Centre to cheer and support his team mates.

    ENJOY !!!

Steve is a baller. I didn't know he plays computer games. :p I hope he can come back stronger next season. Its tough for steve though, with alston and bjax in the PG rotation. I wish him the best next season.

I do have a question. What exactly did they do to him regarding the type of surgery that Francis had. What is the prognosis and the odds of a full recovery?

lol you guys think Yao is the one who got Stevie playing computer games? I can pictures these two like young kids playing against each other, crutches and all.

    Yao: Steve, I own.

    Stevie: LOLZ! Whateva Yao.

Yao: G2G, My g/f is home. TTYL.

Stevie: Yo Yao, why you whipped son?!? hahahahaha

Yao: Shut up Steve, at least I didn't get traded and fall of the face of the earth.

    Stevie: :(

    Yao: J/K!! :D

    **Stevie signed off at 3:33pm

In the original interview (in chinese), steven said "he is playing GAMES", not "computer games". They are not same. :-b

I know we are down on Francis but I hope he comes back. He is still young and he represents an entire era of Rockets basketball. He showed some positives right before he went out. Face it Bobby Jackson is a contract waiting to be traded next season. We will need Francis to step in and fill the backup PG role. I still think Aaron Brooks is 2yrs away.

    Holy crap. He looks fat!

How does he plan on playing next season if he can't even start running until next August and he already looks 20-30lbs heavier (and it ain't muscle) than he did pre-surgery?

This guy is delusional. Is he still on pain meds or is he playing PF next season?

Ya I was wondering that too. Well, he needs to start working at least his upper body as soon as possible. Maybe he can hire Falsone to get his butt into shape.

I like Francis' take on the current offense: whoever feels like to take a shot, shot!

Stevie always feels the court is so big that he's always open. :)

Well it's probably not his fault. He can't run. He can't work out hard except to lift weights. His diet is probably the same as when he was playing ball so it's probably not adjusted to the lower activity level. Vicious cycle of injury plus loss of conditioning. He needs to first get healthy and then start to work on his aerobic conditioning and body fat. Then he needs to get that explosiveness back which will require lots of drills for jumping, quickness and speed. All he can do after the surgery is to start to do light upper body workouts. In fact if I recall, most doctors do not want you working out for one entire month because of possible complications.
