Darryl Strawberry - How many chances do you need?

Failed another drug test, missed curfew....in jail....AGAIN. I feel bad for the guy, battling colon cancer and all, but he left his drug treatment center to have some drug binge over the weekend. There is also a poll on the page that allows you to vote for the most tragic figure in baseball history. Strawberry is coming away with 45% or so, over Pete Rose.

I must say this. Straw has had too much
rope but Baseball refuses to let him hang

Gawd what a dubious honor!!!!!!

Even mentioning Pete Rose on the same page as the "Last Straw"berry would be enough to send me over the edge.

Pete never hurt baseball nor did he ever give anything but 110% everytime he suited up.

It's like honoring Rudy T's face with a most valuable punching bag "Kermit Washington" trophy.
