LaRussa boldly started Ankiel, and paid the price as he threw five wild pitches in the third inning, threw 50% balls, and almost threw several other pitches away. Most were fastballs. I guess the kid choked, but they still got the win thanks to the Braves lousy Defense. As llcoolJ would say, Ankiel had some milky cereal baby.
