    The photograph, taken in 2004 by the Mars explorer Spirit, appears to show a human shaped object that looks startlingly like previous photographs purporting to have captured Bigfoot.

    Just curious what could have caused that rock to be shaped like that? (assuming it was natural)

    Rocks like that happen on earth due to wind/water and what not, but I don't think Mars has those things.

    Well the look of the terrain looks like one of those wind swept , but doesn't wind mean that there would be atmosphere at one point on mars? Or can the winds exist without oxygen and such?

    they do have an atmosphere now...95% carbon dioxide. Mars has very strong winds/sand storms.

    Ah ok so the figure could very well have been naturally made, Since it was take in 1004 I wonder why NASA hasn't moved their little remote control car closer to it for further analysis, or did they just found that picture recently.

    they very well could have another picture from another angle showing that its a rock, but who wants to read about a rock?! I want to see Bigfoot taking a rest on a rock! :D

    Well, wouldn't you assume if NASA spotted something this strange they might take more than just one PHOTO of it?
