Looks like reading the entire article helps understand that it really means nothing

Texas Tech is apparently going with the "dog ate my homework" defense.

According to the article and Tech's own website, it has been working on this issue for the last 3-4 years and still missed its deadline.

I'm not saying the curriculum is bad, but this reflects very poorly on the school's current management. With something this imporant in one of the state's better public Universities, you would think that management could get its act together for this.

It really shocks me that this has happened to Tech. As much as I dislike their sports teams, I always thought they were a very good university. I still think it is a good university, but one with really crappy management.

Once met a guy at who transferred to UH from Tech. Said Tech was a joke and UH was tough. Of course thats just one guy. But I tend to believe it. Those Arizona schools are joke. Why not TT?

I always thought it was strange that my buddy going to Tech took a cursive handwriting class.

Jeez, why must there be so much college hate around here? I'm sure Texas Tech isn't much different from the other state schools in TX.

Except for the accreditation, of course.
