We have 4 of 6 preseason games against division opponents. Why would the league want us to play teams we are going to see 4 more times? I mean Memphis back to back WTF?

maybe it has to do with distance and teams not wanting to travel across the country for preseason games.

yet we have preseason games in europe and china
 I remember when the Rockets started their season in China vs. the Sonics some decade ago

Let's see they have Hawaii preseason games, China preseason games, Europe preseason games...

I haven't had the time to check other teams but is consistant that a team would play mostly division opponents in the preseason? I would think that you wouldn't want to give the opponents extra opportunities to see your offense, especially since we have a new system.
As a fan I would rather see teams I will see less during the season like Chicago or Washington or maybe the Celtics. I really don't wanna see MORE memphis and spers. __________________ Q: "Lin, What is your mission?" A: "Asik the Bearded one!" |
