Hey guys, didn't see this posted yet. If so,feel free to remove. In other hands, enjoy http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/McGrady_preparing_to_host_soft-229458-34.html
It was posted before, but its probably good to remind everyone that its this weekend. I hope a couple of yall can go and let us in on the funny stories.
Still mulling whether I want to make the drive down for this, does anyone know what the weather will be like down there this weekend?
http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/77070?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared according to the weather channel...scattered storms...hopefully it doesnt rain hard
Hmm, you know, I could have sworn after the incident last summer, on the first game of last season, I believe I heard Chuck as being introduced as being 6ft 8in Now, being shocked is definitely no joke, but a friend of mine joked about that incident somehow stimulated his growth to allow two more inches. Bring your own water this time, Chuck.
"We don't have a power forward right now except for Chuck Hayes," said McGrady, referring to the free agent forward. "I'm sure the organization is working on getting us a power forward and I still think we need a guy on the perimeter that can create. We did get Mike James and he can do that. We also need a guy that can rebound. The organization is aware of it and I'm sure they're working on it." Interesting. In the other interview, he said that they needed another 4, and all they had was Scola (ignoring Hayes). Now he is saying they only have Hayes (ignoring Scola). Unless this interview is really old.
It is old. I think it was from just before the Scola trade. The page says June 26th... so it had to be before that. What was the date of the Scola trade?
Don't remember, it was next to the intersecting freeway, about 2 miles from Baseball USA, there was a chinese food place on the same plaza. Horrible with names and what not. I had picked it because it was the closest to the location.
Does anyone know what would happen if the game is rained out? Would the whole thing get rescheduled or just canceled out right?
http://sports.sohu.com/20070802/n251379395.shtml The above sohu article reported that on Radio 970, TMAC said the softball tournament won't be postponed or cancelled regardless of weather, i.e. whether sunny or rainy, the show must go on !!!
