What you just did,starting a thread just to advertise your website is frowned upon by the members here.

If you want to be accepted,you should lurk and read other's postings and reply only when it is appropriate and relevant to the topic being discussed.

but if you want to be ignored,flamed, or just in generally hated by the folks here you go ahead and continue your current technique. That has to be the worst edited homepage I have ever seen in my whole LIFE! The spelling mistakes are incredible. My take is, if you want to give editorial opinions on other people's thoughts, you had better write clearly so people can understand yours.

As well, your summary on Charles Barkley was erroneous. "Drafted in 19[4]4?" By the way, your page is NOT "The Best Source for Information on The Houston Rockets." Clutchcity.net, infact holds that trophy hands-down!!!

I don't really mind that you started a thread to advertise your site. I've done it myself a few times (although I did post in the appropriate forum).

It's always great to see sites created by other members of this board. Specially if they are Rocket pages. I usually don't go around surfing the net for Rocket sites, as most are extremely old. That's why I appreciate the fact that Rocket fans are able to tell us about their fresh, new Rocket sites. Sometimes, it's nice to see what other people think about the Rockets. Otherwise, seeing other sites just helps us see how much we should appreciate ClutchCity.NET.

At least try to post in the appropriate forum...and start one thread only rather than 10 of them. You know you can make several points in a single thread.

a few tips for your page:

1) Try to have some more original content.
2) Type the text in Word, and run spell check.
3) Change the color of the text, it hurts my eyes.
4) Check over what you write and make sure it makes sense.

One last thing...are you really 12 or are you just ashamed to tell us your real age?
Don't worry, I do the same. I'm a college graduate, I just tell people I'm 17 as so to lead them to believe I'm some sort of genious. Don't you just love the internet?

Explain why we are supposed to cut you slack because you are only 12. If that is REALLY a valid reason for your fellow members to do that, then you should also follow the corollary that youth should listen to and respect their elders. You seem to have a definite problem with listening to our advice, so you have some changing to do if you want to use the shelter of "I'm only 12".

If you wish to be here and interact with adults, don't use age as an excuse when you are criticized. You should take the advice to heart and learn from it. .
