    Thanks to the glory that is youtube, we can finally find the things in our childhood that gave us nightmares, and the stupid sh** we can't forget.

    For me, my family didn't have cable until '82, so I spent many a morning watching sesame street, and their are still skits embedded in my head. Here's one that I'll never forget.

    I remember there used to be this furniture store called Plantowsky's.. and they had a commercial where they would sing this annoying song and flash like a million peices of furniture on the screen.

    Then all of a sudden the flashing would stop and there was this dog sitting on a black couch.. the background was compeltely white.. and this lady would yell something at him, the dog would bark back.. then I dont know why but it would scare the crap out of me. I never stuck around to see what the dog did.

    I know this isn't sesame street related but it still creeped me out.

    Reading Rainbow was my favorite show BY FAR on PBS as a pre-schooler. But you don't have to take my word for it! Dun-dun DUN!

    "Hi. My name is Jessica, and if you like skunks, then you'll love 'Feemore the Baby Skunk Finds a Home.'"

    I always though Bill Cosby was the best "reader" on the show. He was great at the narration and voices.

    I also loved Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street of course. The most FRUSTRATING THING IN THE WORLD for me though was the Spider-Man segments on the Electric Company. Spidey spoke in word balloons, and I COULDN'T READ!! My God, if there was one person on the planet whose words I HAD to hear, it was SPIDER-MAN. Who knew what wisdom he was spouting?!

    This is the Spidey skit I remember best. SPIDER-MAN!! WHERE ARE YOU COMIN' FROM, SPIDER-MAN!! NOBODY KNOWS WHO YOU ARRRRE!!!
