Carlos Santana won a record 9 Grammys for his comeback album Supernatural including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Rock Album.
No one deserves it more than he does. He is a wonderful guy whose Milagro Foundation has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to children all over the world. Namaste, Carlos. You truly are the bomb! ------------------ "Society always honors its live conformists and its dead non-conformistis." |

His "Maria Maria" song is better than the dress Jennifer Lopez was wearing at the Grammys. Okay maybe not that good. Hey Jeff why are you saying Namaste to Carlos. That is an Indian greeting and Santana is of Latin origin.

Everyone knows that the only reason Santana won was because of the song with Dave Matthews.
 This may be the most overdue praise ever for someone with the talent of Santana. He's been a living legend for years and has finally gotten the respect he deserves. |

Actually it was 8 grammys, 9 would have beat the record set by Michael Jackson.

Mulder is correct. My mistake - it was 8 - tying the record.
