if the Warriors have anyone slightly intelligent on that team, they will all come together in Game 3...and clap every time a ref blows the whistle. EVERY TIME. I'm talking the WHOLE GAME, just applaud the refs for their calls.

but seriously, do they have anyone slightly intelligent on that team?!? lol 3 starters straight out of high school. Could you imagine Shane Battier stuck in that locker room???

Are you kidding me? That's the only reason they are going to lose the series. They aren't smart. They will lose their composure. There were no bad calls tonight. Jackson and Barnes are complete nut cases.

the mavs really didn't play that well tonight. the only reason they won was because the warriors committed so many turnovers and they just let their immaturity get the best of them and got stupid ejections and technical fouls. if you take away all of their conduct problems and 10 turnovers, the game would have been theirs.

Mavs went 0-forever at the 3 point line. If they made half of those shots, this game would've been over at half time. Please don't start with this crap.

golden state definitely lost their cool, can't do that. But Dirk DOES NOT play like an MVP out there. Obviously the mavs are a much better basketball team then the Warriors, but the Warriors have this foolish pride and swagger keeping them in this series for the time being.

I just want to see Dallas lose to either GS or us in the second round. I swear if we lose to Dallas in the playoffs, I might shoot up heroine for the first time or something.

Well might as well order the needle in case. I don't know how i'm going to stand watching us play the Mavs for 4 games in Dallas. You might need heroine just to get through that experience.

The only reason Golden State has a shot in this playoffs is because they matchup well with the Mavs. Simple as that. They aren't that great a team, they played very well at the end of the season, and they are getting to play the only team they probaby could beat out of the elite in the league.

Which is what makes this series so good...the Warriors aren't anywhere near as good as the Mavs, yet they took game 1 and now are going back to Oracle where they are very good and have fans who have been playoff starved for 13 years against a team they matchup with well.

I really can't wait. It's going to be good. Despite the turnovers, they really had a shot at the game until they lost their composure. At home, i'm sure they won't lose their composure so easily, which is why it was critical for them to steal a game in Dallas early (game 1, in other words) before it came down to a game 5 or game 7 in Dallas for the series.

The Warriors cost themselves a chance at winning this game. The really messed up. Baron Davis should be ashamed of himself and SJax is a nutcase. If the Warriors blow the series because they lose their composure, that's what they deserve. It should be 2-0 right now.

The title of this thread should be "The Warriors are NOT a smart team". The thread starter is no smarter if he thinks antagonizing the refs will help them at all. The focus on the refs instead of the Mavs is just what the Mavs want and need.

why the hate for the warriors? bdiddy and sjax definitely messed up, but to say the series should be 2-0 ignores the fact that this is a 1 seed doing what it should be doing against an 8 seed, and that will always be the one thing GS has in their favor. they're supposed to lose. nobody should be disappointed if they do, but if they win, the glory is all there for the taking. and emotion is what drives the warriors. it might get out of hand and it did last night, but i'm sure they're willing to sacrifice 1 game to voice their discontent. the mass media and the majority of people here thought the warriors were going to get swept, notwithstanding their regular season series. for them to even put up a fight is an accomplishment, and i fully expect the emotion from last night's game to carry over into game 3, but in a good way.

One of the worst-called games ever. There were plenty of good calls, but the completely lopsided preference for bad calls to go against the warriors made a mockery of the game.

Frankly, the warriors need to slam dirk into the court. If you're gonna play like a punk-b****, be prepared to be treated like one.

I'm not ignoring anything. It's obvious from the first 2 games that the #1 vs. #8 thing is irrelevant for these teams. The Warriors are in the Mavs heads and the heads of their fans. The Mavs were ripe again and Davis cost them a chance at snagging the game. If you think giving up a game to "vent" is worth it, then you and I will just have very very strongly different opinions. When a team is down, you step on them and kill them. The Warriors let the Mavs get back up and gain some confidence.

And quit the "hate" nonsense just because I made critical comments on the Warriors. Statements like that dumb down the discussion. I want the Warriors to win just like everyone else here, except one, but I'm not going to kiss and smooch them. If the Rockets had blown a winnable game at Dallas and Tracy got tossed early in the 4th quarter while Rafer nearly lost his composure, the criticism here would be scathing, and nobody would be accused of "hate" on the Rockets.

relax, i'm not saying you're hating. i was using it colloquially, like 'quit hatin'. you make it seem like i've been riding you all day accusing you of being a hateful person. and i do disagree about the significance of the warriors losing their composure in game 2. obviously it would be nice to go up 2-0, but there are certain advantages to losing that game the way they did, unlike what reggie might have us all believe with the way he was going off about 'you don't want america rooting against you for getting all these technicals.' the way i see it, the team can use that game to fuel an 'us against the world' mentality that will make them even more dangerous. its certainly unconventional and nothing jvg would ever recommend doing, but the warriors are all about taking risk and i don't put it beyond nelson to be perfectly happy with the way things have turned out so far in this series. it takes 4 to win the series, and game 2 might have just been an investment the warriors were willing to make in hopes of a return of 3 more wins.

and bottom line is this is an 8th seed. it will be of no consolation to the mavs if they lose to the warriors just because the warriors seem to have their number. it will be just as embarrassing as if they lost to a team the mavs swept in the regular season. you made solid points and they are completely sensible; my take is obviously more psychological and less conventional, while yours is the more rational 'win every game we can' mindset, so i'm sorry if it seemed like i was just attacking you and dumbing down the conversation. i didn't mean to. i just view the situation in this series under a slightly different light.

i dont see how anyone thinks this was the worst officiated game ever. if anything, it was one of the fairest. baron davis was 'molesting' the refs ALL night and really should have been ejected much earler. kudos to the ref for being the bigger man. someone tell davis and jackson to grow the f up

difference between ok teams and good teams...mental preparation

So they should kiss the ref's @sses because the refs have ego problems? The NBA has a problem on their hands beyond Crawford.

I know you're a Mavericks fan but you should know better then the think that Golden State will lose their composure all series long. That was uncharacteristic of them and they'll show more composure. It's funny that you call anybody on the Mavs a nutcase when you have guys like Stackhouse on the team who gets into fist fights over card games. And Jason Terry is a thug.

How in the world can anyone complain about he calls lastnight???? I understand most of you want Dallas to lose this series, but it was actually pretty even lastnight.

Like someone said earlier...if Dallas makes 1/3 of their 3's lastnight, it would have been a blowout. Dallas is the better team...plain and simple.

Don't be scared of the Round 2 matchup your going to get...the better of both teams will win this series and you'll have your chance at getting revenge from the last time these two teams played. It should be fun to watch.

Just GET OVER the reasoning that the officials cost Golden State the game lastnight...thats crazy talk
