Just thought I'd make it plain.

My turn: I'd like Chris Paul or Deron Williams here.

your right, we do not need a 2, tmac/battier/head/snyder are more than enough, we need a 1!

I like Barnes a lot but, don't be fooled. Golden State has a system very similar to Phoenix to where a lot of players have career years there and then wilt in other systems. We obviously run a lot of Half Court Offense and I have no idea how he has performed in a half court offensive. Does any one here know how he has played in this kind of system?

I thought you meant Rick Barnes to replace JVG and was about to lose serious hope for this BBS.

He was a training camp pickup for the warriors, so hes most likely on a one year minimum contract. Next year we need to spend our MLE on either a PF or PG. He would be a great luxury at the right price, but theres nothing he can do that battier can't.

yea, but you have Luther, who's ball handlng skills are limited, he is very clumsy....then we have Snyder, who can make a pass or shot thats questionable and we seen that few times...on the other hand, Barnes is a very good ball handler, not a TO prone...I would not mind giving up Luther and Snyder for him

of course we need to improve the 1 spot, but I'm talking here particulary about the 2

We need a real power forward. There's a reason why the Battier at the 4 experiment failed in the beginning. We just don't get enough rebounds with that kind of lineup. And it creates huge mismatch issues on the post with power forwards.

We should have picked him up when NY cut him. Is it me or have there been a few decent guys like Barnes, Jason Hart, Eddie Jones etc that we might have picked up but didn't. Franchise should be bought out this off-season and he is a better value for the MLE than Mike James IMO, I hope we pick him up.

I'd love to get him too. There was a stratch this season where he was playing out of his mind. He had three or four 30 point games. His playing time decreased significantly after the trade for Harrington and Jackson. He's solid and his playoff mohawk is pretty sweet.
