I know everyone is excited about the playoffs but I myself is scared. We have a chance at beating anybody when we play our best but we seen the lows for this team and sometimes they come at the worst time. Like the unforgetable Game 7 against Dallas. That being said how many games will this series go. I would say Houston over Utah in 6 or 7 games. Anything less than that is an underestimation of both teams.
Um.... The Rocks in CINCO! (Thats Japanese for five for the dumb people in the crowd). By the way, I took time off! I am ready to tape up those broken ankles for all the fans who jump on and off the wagon during the entire year. I got a whole PALLET! So, I am ready. MAKE A LINE! DaDakota...you first.
I will go on record and say Houston in 5. Optimistic? Sure. But I'm going to say they win all their home games and steal game 4 in Utah. Should go: Houston, Houston, Utah, Houston, Houston game 4 will be key.
I don't think this team has the killer instinct to sweep Utah or end it in five. I think our team is peaking at the right time and that we will handle Utah well. Tracy will be attacking the basket more than ever b/c its the playoffs and they won't have an answer for Yao Ming either. I say the series goes to six games, most of which are close. We just have better finishers late in the game and have home court. Game 1 : Rockets Game 2 : Rockets Game 3 : Utah Game 4 : Rockets Game 5 : Utah Game 6 : ROCKETS in 6 !!
I'm going to optimistic and say Rockets in five. I BELIEVE! This is the time ever both T-mac and Yao has had homecourt advantage..it's amazing to think our superstars never had homecourt before...this year, no excuses if we don'tget out of the first round. But of course I am confident we can get out of the first round.
i hate these threads. it could jinx us. remember, tmac's own words "feels good to be in the 2nd round"
rox in 5 or 6. tmac can get good rest before playoff starts. we won't have any trouble against jazz, or even against mavs.
It all depends on T-Mac. He plays like he did last night and how he played against Dallas a couple years back, and we blow them out every single solitary game. They have absolutely NO ANSWER for him. The only way we lose is if we beat ourselves. Period.
I'm surprised how easy some of you think it is going to be. I'll take the Rockets in seven. We are a superior team, but we've proven that we handle adversity better than success. Don't be surprised to see the Rockets take an early series lead, give it back, and have to reclaim at the end. I don't think it is going to be down to the wire every night, with the Rockets controlling the series, but I still say seven games. I hope I'm wrong and we sweep! But until the Rockets can prove that killer instinct, I'm anticipating a battle.
