    YOF, YOH, TOF, TOH

    they have ruined the message board and turned threads into embarrassing arguments...

    they have divided fans into unnecessary sectors...

    they have become commonplace in a forum of Rockets Fanatics...

    if we take away the power to use these abbreviations, posters will respond more positively

    they need to ban anyone who hates on Ralph Sampson , Kenny Smith and Vernon Maxwell.

    I agree with you that those phrases are anoying. But Banning them, doesn't change the mindset behind those phrases. You cannot control what people think.

    think of this as a positive.

    you have to turn the YOFs into Rocket fans.
    You need to explain to them the rich history of the Rockets. when they hear comparisons to Ralph Sampson, show them the clips of our hero taking down one of the greatest teams in NBA history. Show the Ralph's loyalty to defend his teammate AKEEM. Show them Calvin, Otis, Moses, Vernon etc show them the emotion the fire the light!

    Show them the ROCKETS!

    but seriously, its the acceptance of the term as normal vernacular around this website... even I get caught up in between these petty arguments and wonder how this place has come to accept these terms...

    I mean come on, is there really such thing as a Yao Only Hater?
