Wow! A thread for me. I am flattered!
I have and will continue to say what I think about the team. I am sorry if my standards are too high. I am sorry if I bug you when I criticize the team's players and it rubs you the wrong way. I am still here, I still support the team, and I still watch every second of every game.
The one thing that has and continues to concern me about this team is their mental weakness. I am not happy with that, win or not over a mediocre Lakers team.
You can disagree with me, but if you feel the need to call me out and call me "an idiot" and it makes you feel better, then good luck! I am clearly not the one with issues in that case.
Our team is soft, it annoys me to no end because ALL I care about is playoff success. That's my only measuring stick.
Glad we won, not happy with the team's inability to close out games against subpar teams. Do you know what type of teams we will be playing the playoffs?

No, it's not. Sorry, I won't give you what you're looking for.
I don't argue with 12 year olds, I think they can arrest you in some states for that.

This team isn't mentally weak, you and a select few individual posters on this board are mentally weak. As soon as the Rockets get themselves in a tight spot, the mentally weak posters act as if we've lost the game already.

couldnt of said it better myself, im not happy at all with the last 2 victories, clippers and lakers, we lose every 4th quarter, we dont know how to close out games, we just dont have that killer mentality and that is a BIG concern going into the playoofs, these last 2 wins should of been blowouts, im sure if we had another coach they would of

I think you need to read the posts you make on this board:
No hustle.
This team is full of country club boys, we're such softies it ain't even funny. And I wish it was just this game, but it ain't. We have two incredibly soft superstars (mentally speaking) and Kobe is the only Alpha Male on the court.
One Alpha Male superstar is destroying two mental midgets right now. And it's not about stats either, it's about taking control of the game and leading your team through the tough times. Our guys are not incapable of doing that, they just far too often lack the killer instinct to do it.
The sad thing is that you deleted it after you posted it...now thats what I call a true bandwagon fan

Deleted it? What are you talking about? Go to post #864 in the Game Thread and you will see it still there, unmolested.
So you're a proven liar now...good start.
Do you honestly think I am 'afraid' of voicing my opinion about a team I have been a diehard fan of (as in going to tons of games, cheering for them and following them during the 'dark years') because I am concerned about my 'rep' on a basketball forum?
Seriously, feel free to dislike my 'tone' or the general way I express my opinion about this team, but don't make up crap trying to make it look like I am a 'bandwagon' fan. I don't hop on and then off the wagon, I am always on, good or bad.
What's your definition of a 'diehard'? Someone who NEVER, EVER questions the team or challenges them to do better?
I would GLADLY eat crow if this Rockets team proves me wrong...there is nothing that would bring me more joy in this world.
Well, may be the Astros winning the WS, but really nothing else.

Not a good way to address tiger, man. While I agree he was dead wrong, some need to respect the fact that Tmac has grown up and is not looking to become a scorer anymore.
Sorry if he isn't kobe, but he is a much MUCH MUCH better TEAM player than Kobe is, and that is why the Rockets have a much better record despite injuries here and players who havent worked out.

one thing that bugged me is how our superstars dissappeared while Kobe was single handedly mugging the rockets. And its not the first time. In this respect, tiger has a point.

I don't know why LCII created this thread for you...I guess I must have missed out on the arguement or something but I completely agree with you on this! but to be fairly honest I have seen teams that are even worse when it comes to being mentally weak and I would say Lakers are one of them. but once we get to the playoffs especially play against Jazz in the first round this should give Rockets much needed confidence to go deep into playoffs!
