This thread is dedicated to the diehard Rockets fans who have had troubles locating links to watch Rox games online. Either you read Chinese or not, once you complete the following procedures, you would be able to find the next Rox game in just a few clicks. Please follow the procedures: 1. Download the PPStream player. Skip to step 3 if you have the player installed already. Choose one of the links below. It might be slow but the file is only 1.5mb. Be patient. http://download.ppstream.com/ppstreamsetup.exe http://202.99.233.98/down/ppstreamsetup.exe http://210.38.3.3/ppstreamsetup.exe 2. Install it. Yesyes, it's in Chinese. Just "Next" it, who cares! 3. Now, download the "NBA game reminder," which is the game schedule that shows what games will be boardcasted on PPStream, including game replays. http://upload.ppstream.com/UploadFile/2006-12/20061220020337100209746.zip 4. Install the reminder and run it. It will automatically update the schedule. 5. To play a game, just click on the red and circled number before game time. Then just sit back and relax. The ppstream player will be triggered automatically, and it will take you to the correct game channel. If there is more than one number circled in red, meaning there are different channels boardcasting the same game. I wish i could do screenshots to explain this. I hope you can understand. (Note: The time and date showed on the reminder are in China time zone. Remember there's about +14hrs difference if you are in Houston. Do your math). In case you want the translations of the program, use online translations tool: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Highlight the text, copy and paste it for translation. I recommend you guys try ppmate. It is clearer and more stable. go to http://www.download.com/PPMate/3000-2017_4-10603770.html dowlaod and install it. then slelct CCTV-5
You are welcome. Nice to hear that. Actually many ppl are still wondering around to look for online Rockets games. As a Rox fan myself, I would like to see more ppl being able to watch Rox games and supporting our Rox. So we have more discussions.
The problem is that not every game is boardcasted on CCTV-5. People who don't read Chinese would have a diffcult time trying to locate the next game.

i've tried ppstream, ppmate, sopcast... and they all crash on me... it'll start up, i'll find the channel, it'll buffer, then start streaming... then about 10 seconds later the program will crash... dunno what's wrong.
I second that. sopcast worked in the beginning of the season (given a little slow) but then it just crapped out
If we can get the link to that sweeeeet stream we got for the magic game every time, we dont even need any p2p programs anymore!! still curious if we can get that stream again tonite
BTW, recently i've been using TVU alot, i think their quality is awesome. Channel selection is a bit thin, but they have CCTV5, and also their own VIPER TV sports channel, which always shows games in english (but not usually rockets games )
yea... p2p programs r crap... the quality just so bad, u need to minimize the window to a 2 inch x 2 inch on ur screen and use a magnify glass to watch it in order to see who is who. that stream thing is same as watching television. omg...
Yes, I agree. The one we got for magic game is terrific. I guess it's because the server is in US, instead of in China for ppstream. Who can provide that link again? Thank you.

yeah that's the reason i don't mess around with ppstream. it always sets off my avast virus scanner. i have tvants and sopcast (with a zonealarm block on sopAdver.exe) and that covers all of my rockets and arsenal streaming needs. and that magic game stream came from MaxTV.
