You know, I thought the caveman ads were mildly funny, but I don't get why they're considered that funny... and a tv show about it? Dang.
Did anyone else pickup that the Geico Cavemen, in at least two commercials, are gay? The one where three guys are living in that condo and one is playing the piano? Or the "roasted duck with the mango salsa"?
I've been saying for months that these guys should have a show. If they do it right it will be gold. It's all about the writing.
You and I must be gay, RM95... since we like Roasted Duck with the Mango Salsa. 111chase111, maybe they're just "British"? Look, man... what they're trying to convey in the commercials is that they are sophisticated, almost-metrosexual males who enjoy the luxuries of life, that's all. On the one at the house, "that is SO condescending" shows their intellectual. "Would you give us a minute?!" in the party one shows how respectful they are. I had NOT seen this one:

On thing I never understood...their tagline! "Geico! So Easy a caveman can do it!" Do what? Geico is not a verb..there is no action. It's a noun! The only thing I can think of is that that are saying it's easy to apply online. Shouldm't it be: "Geico! So easy a caveman can get it!"
It doesn't necessarily make them gay; but making them gay (as in Queer Eye for the Straight Guy gay) is just, IMO, brilliant.
