Kansas State vs Rutgers.
I was at the Pep Rally at City Hall. Infact, it's going on right now. I can hear it.
They shut down the street in front of Shell so the band could play.
I was expecting hotties.
There were some cute chicks trying to "Texasfy" them self by wearing short jean skirts, and cowboy hats.
That's pretty hot.
Anybody going?

My cousin was there. She's a Rutgers cheerleader. I want to go to the game, but don't think I have time.

I saw some pretty cute Dancers there. I don't think they were cheerleaders.
Some of the chicks there in the crowd were dogs, but I'm not complaining.
Is K State doing anything?
I saw some KState football players, and Rutgers players going tourist on the city by taking pics and stuff.
that was neat.
I wish we had a better bowl game.
I hope we can land an ACC team, so we can get Florida State or Miami, and have them shoot people.

Why was the Houston Bowl renamed the Texas Bowl? It seemed like Tech was in it every year.

The Houston Bowl and Texas Bowl are two different bowl games. The Houston Bowl (originally started by Mattress Mac) went out of business last year. Reliant Stadium/Houston Texans petitioned the NCAA for a new bowl game - the Texas Bowl. The name the Texas Bowl was purchased from the UIL which used it for the hs football championships.

We have had their players in here since Saturday night. They are on Curfew at 11 but have come by to watch games and stuff. All this week we have been getting their fans in here hanging out and drinking as well...

Expect a lot of them on Game Day. :D
Texas Bowl Encourages Fans To "Go Texan" For Game
The Texas Bowl is encouraging fans attending the inaugural game to come the game in their best "Texas" outfit and Go Texan.
The Texas Bowl has been created as "A Celebration of the Culture, Heritage and Football Tradition of the Lone Star State" and this is another way to join in that celebration. Fans that come dressed in Texas/Cowboy clothes will be in the running for the honor of Mr. and Mrs. Go Texan at the Texas Bowl. The man and woman picked for this honor will both be awarded a $250 gift certificate to Cavender's Boot City.
In addition to all the fans dressed in their best boots and hats there will be great Texas music, food, drink, games and football legends at TexFest, a pre-game celebration that starts the party at Reliant Stadium at 3:00.

Is NFL Network on in Houston? Yeah, I'd rather not go to Reliant.

Rutgers and K-State are going to play in the 2007 Texas Bowl? Damn, it's amazing that you know that, considering they haven't even played the 2006 Texas Bowl yet. So, Biff...who's going to win Superbowl XLI? :D
