i googled "Amazon $100 XBox" and i got a lot of entries...apparently if it goes down, its going down soon. ive read that they might release it after thanksgiving or when the ps3 comes out on friday.....just keep a lookout everyday. i want to get a couple of them. lets work together to keep this updated....

yeah its not big deal if its not true. i just thought i'd share just in case if it was. i already have a 360 but i want to buy my little cousin one.....poor kid. his parents dont buy him anything....even if you have one, it makes for a great gift

Like Miguel, I saw this a while back, but didn't think much of it. I don't really see much of a reason for Amazon or MS to do this (at least to that degree). If it does happen, then props to Amazon and MS. That would be amazing. This rumor makes no sense. By selling the core system at $100, they would kill the sales of all $400 premium packages. Why not lower it to $250 or even $199? Having the 360 for the same price as the Wii would make many people reconsider getting the "cheap" system, while a $100 price tag would only admit defeat to the PS3.
