I had a friend (using that term loosely) who designed the site and threw it up there and didnt charge me so I thought he really wanted to help me out. Well he either really wants to help me or he really wants to screw me over.....hes always been that way. Anyway, I figured out that he went in there and messed it up so that I was unable to get any messages. That was the reason why I couldnt respond to Rubytuesday here. I have no idea how to fix it.....its made my Ades Form Mail but I really need some help. Can anyone here help?
If it's just your email address that's wrong then you just need to update the file with it. There should be files name form.php and form2.php, in those files there is a line like $to = "email@address.com", change that to have the correct email address. If that's not the problem then let me know and I'll look into it more.
Unfortunately, I don't think it is that simple. The contact form on the site is in Flash. My recommendation is this: 1. If you have access to FTP, change the contact form by removing the flash file information and replace it with a simple text link - i.e. Email: info@texasfudge.com. 2. Change your FTP password IMMEDIATELY so your "friend" won't be able to login and make changes.
From Ades Form Mail: Use form2.php if you are having error with form.php, sometimes you will not recieve emails, or you will recieve empty parameters. That is because of your server configuration. Rename form2.php to form.php and it should be fine.
LOL yeah I need all the help that I can get......I can give you the FTP number and address. I dont know anything else other than that.
