My friend just saw Van Gundy tonight and talked about Bonzi....

    Take this for what it is worth. I am a long time reader of the forum, but rarely if ever post. But I feel like this might be important information. My friend just called and said that he was at a charity function in which Van Gundy was in attendance. After the events, he congratulates him on the Bonzi signing. He responds with "well, thanks, but it might be falling apart as we speak". After which his cell phone rings and he answers it with the phrase "talk to me. What's going on." He then briskly walks away to talk in private.

    Like I said, take it for what it is worth. I am as excited as everyone on this board about this signing, but I just thought I would pass the information on.

    I wonder if CHA decided to pay Bonzi in a long term deal...

    Van Gundy would talk about stuff like this. I attended a party of a long time season ticket holder with Van Gundy there and he talked about anything anyone would ask.

    wasn't there some thread last year involving highly sensitive personel issues that van gundy leaked through a BBS member that had breakfast with him? that's all i'm sayin...
