if yall have been watching the news lately then you saw the recent police chase and shooting. well the girl involved in that was my first girlfriend, tamina hamid. I tried to help her get her life straight for so long until I finally had to give up on her. the last time I had talked to her it sounded like she might actually be getting things together after she got out of jail. but that was a couple years ago and that obviously didn't happen. its pretty ****ed up seeing the girl you used to love deteriorate into a total degenerate piece of trash. even though I did give up on her I still thought about her and meant to try to get a hold of her to see how she was doing. well I know now...its surreal seeing the video of her firing the shots. it's too bad things couldn't be different.
Do you mind if I ask for details? Sorry to hear about that bro(even without the details, it sounds bad). That's horrible. +
I haven't talked to her in a couple years. I still remember the number to her parents house and I was going to try to get a hold of her thru them. who knows maybe I will be on her contact list whenever she gets sentenced, but I doubt I will have an urge to see her. I might try to write her a letter at some point in time.
If you don't mind me asking, what ethnicity is Tamina Hamid? I remember hearing her name on the news and it sounds like she has an Arabic name (as do I).
www.khou.com/topstories/stories/khou060602_mh_policechase.48244909.html that pretty much explains it the best. it is a pretty complicated set of events and I am going to bet that she had done this hitchhiker act more than once
It is always sad to see anybody you were once close to go down a path that you can't follow, nor can you help them off of it. I'm currently going through the same thing with an old flame that has turned to heavy drugs to deal with life.. it's not pretty.
Was anyone else surprised at the incredibly crappy writing in that KHOU article? I don't think I've ever seen such a poor piece of writing from a professional source. It was very difficult to follow.
Damn Robbie, one hell of a story. You did your best to get her to change, but to no avail, and now she is facing difficult prison time. You did your best, and you have nothing to be ashamed of, and the fact that you feel sorry for Tamina after this incident shows your humanity. You are a good person. More people in the world should care about their fellow man the way you do.
lol no...i was 15 when we first started going out and we were only together for like 6 mos., but we stayed friends up and i had to give up on her about 4 years ago. i am 26 now. but it is sad to see someone you tried to help out for so long end up this way.
Unfortunately, her act will be looked kindly upon by those behind bars. These people are kings (or queens in this case) and that usually doesn't lead to a new life.
