[NFL] Clutch BBS Fantasy Mock Draft

Surprised to not see something like this going down on this site: basically, sign up for a team that you want to "represent" at the 2006 NFL draft. Then, once all the teams are spoken for, we start our own mock draft. We can do just first round, first day, or entire draft, if you want (seeing as how it's 2 weeks away, we'll probably only be able to go first day, if that far).

The rules: only one team per manager, but a team can have more than one manager if there is a lot of interest. Trades are allowed if we do multiple rounds ... or whatever you guys want to do (but only realistic ones, not Shaun Alexander for 6 draft picks). Once the mock starts, you'll be given a certain amount of time to be "on the clock," probably a day or 12 hours or something along those lines.

If ya'll want to start this up, that's cool. If not, lock it up mods.

this actually sounds cool...but i don't know really really really detailed stuff about other teams this year. And this isn't a good week for me to learn. Maybe if you start on Thursday i'll be up for it..

I think this is a pretty cool idea, but Iam going to move it to the Fantasy forum where it fits. I'll leave a redirect here, so it can be seen, and you may want to check with one of the hangout mods and see if it would be okay to post a thread there advertising and linking to this thread.

Sorry about the wrong forum. Also, I don't necessarily want to advertise or anything, just something fun to pass time. If it comes to pass, that's cool. I can take the teams that aren't taken by Wednesday or something. Otherwise, I'll just be the commish: trades have to pass through me, etc... :D

the forum thing wasn't a problem. I mentioned the advertising thing because you won't get as many looks in here as you would the other forums. Something simple like an anouncement about a mock draft game and that they can sign up in this thread, was what I was getting at.
